This is an application U/S.483 of BNSS by the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Jankia P.S. Case No. 59 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. Acharya, learned Addl. PP in the matter and perused the record. 4. Bail to the petitioner is in fact opposed to by the learned State Counsel on the ground of his long abscondance for around eight years, but the FIR has been registered against 46 named persons and 50 others(unnamed) and the petitioner is one of such 46 named persons. Additionally, the trial in respect of the p. 2 any of the accused persons named in the FIR or charge sheet has not yet been concluded as submitted. In such backdrop and taking into consideration the nature and gravity of the offences as alleged against the petitioner vis-à-vis the accusations sought to be brought against him and regard being had to the materials placed on record and keeping in view the alleged involvement of 96 persons in committing the crime and the trial having not yet commenced in the present case and taking into account the other circumstances on record in entirety including the inherent right of an accused to be presumed innocent until proven guilty at the trial and grant of bail to number of co-accused persons standing on similar footing, this Court without expressing any view on merit, admits the petitioner to bail. 5. Hence, the bail application of the Petitioner stands allowed and the Petitioner is allowed to go on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-five Thousand) only with two solvent sureties each for the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Court in seisin of the case on such terms and conditions as deem fit and proper by it. 6.
