Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. Petitioner before this Court is a farmer whose crops got burnt. He claims to have raised a claim for payment of compensation in terms of the Pradhanmantri Fasal Bima Yojana vide representation dated 03.08.2024, which is pending consideration before the District Magistrate, Prayagraj. Since no decision is taken, the petitioner is before this Court. 3. Learned State Counsel submits that in the event no decision has yet been taken, the competent authority shall accord due consideration to petitioner's claim. 4. In that view of the matter, we dispose of the present writ petition with direction upon respondent no.2- District Magistrate, Prayagraj to get the petitioner's claim for payment of compensation examined, in accordance with the scheme, by passing a reasoned order within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
