It is submitted by counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners were appointed as Assistant Grade-III in the department of the respondents by an order dated 25.9.2013 (Annexure-P/1). After giving services for so many years, in the recent development, the order of promotion has been passed which is dated 04.04.2022 granting promotion to the other employees of Assistant Grade-III who are junior. Some of the promotees are juniors to the petitioners. The petitioners earlier filed representation praying for 2 consideration of their seniority and grant of promotion but the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition. 2. Learned State counsel submits that the petitioners may make a representation which shall be considered by the respondents. 3. After considering the submissions made by the parties, the writ petition is disposed off. The petitioners are granted liberty to file representation within a time limit of 15 days. On filing such representation, the respondents No.2 & 3 shall consider and take a decision at the earliest within a further time limit of 90 days from the date copy of order is received along with representation taking into consideration the entitlement of the petitioner for such seniority and promotion. 4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any observation on the merits of the case. 5. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed off.
