Raghunandan Rao) As the Contempt Case arises out of the Writ Petition, both the cases are disposed of by way of this Common Order. The petitioner who was an in-service candidate for admission in PG medical course. His application was not being considered on the ground that he had obtained the necessary length of service only after the cutoff date. 2. 3. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner approached this Court contending that the cutoff date fixed by the respondents was arbitrary in much as the convener had always been fixing the cutoff date for in-service candidates after the conduct of the exams whereas the cutoff date, in the present case, was fixed prior to the date of examination. as This Court had disposed of this Writ Petition by an Order dated 03.10.2024, with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner in the category of in-service candidates without taking into account the cutoff date of 16.04.2024. 4. Thereafter, the petitioner has approached this Court again by way of the present Contempt Case contending that he had not been allotted any seat and had been kept in the bottom of the merit list. A perusal of the Order of this Court, dated 03.10.2024 would show that there is only a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner. The fact that the name of the petitioner had been included in the merit list is sufficient to show that the application of the petitioner had been considered, in terms of the Orders of this Court. The fact that the petitioner could not be accommodated in any PG Medical Course, on the ground of his merit, in the list of candidates,cannot be treated to be a violation of the Order of the Court. 5. 6. Accordingly, this Contempt Case is dismissed. 7. 3 fkr 8. The respondents had also filed the Review I.A.No.2 of 2024 in ' W.P.No.22147, on the ground that the Orders of this Court would have a long- lasting effect and would be cited in subsequent years. This Court, had placed a caveat in the Order itself that the Order of the Court would not be taken as a precedent in any future case. In that situation, there would be no need to review the said Order. 9. 10. Accordingly, the Review I.A.No.2 of 2024 in W.P.No.22147 of 2024 is also dismissed. As a sequel, interlocutory applications pending, if any shall stand closed.
