The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Doranda P.S. Case No. 154 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 123, 305(k), 306 & 307 of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of Sri Manish Kumar Singh, learned J.M.-IX, Ranchi. On 12.05.2025, when the informant went to see her mother, who was admitted in Medica Hospital, she found that the jewelries of her mother were missing from her person. From perusal of CCTV camera, it transpired that unknown lady had taken out the jewelries of her mother. It was submitted that later, the accused was identified as Poonam Devi. It was further submitted that the petitioner has been made accused only because he is the father of Poonam Devi. It was finally submitted that nothing was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and co-accused Rohit Ram has been granted bail by the Coordinate Bench of this Court. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Manish Kumar Singh, learned J.M.-IX, Ranchi, or his successor, in connection with Doranda P.S.
