Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge Following order was passed in the matter on 08.12.2025:- “Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a Letters Patent Appeal preferred by the respondents against the judgment sought to be enforced, was dismissed on 28.11.2025. Copy of the decision has been placed on record. Even though, under the previous order, final opportunity was granted to the respondents to comply with the judgment, yet at the request of learned Additional Advocate General, in the given facts, by way of indulgence, further two weeks’ time is granted to the 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Yes - 2 - respondents for doing the needful with clear rider that the judgment be implemented by now in letter and spirit and no further opportunity shall be granted for the purpose. List on 29.12.2025.” 2. Pursuant thereto, learned Additional Advocate General has placed on record office instructions dated 24.12.2025 alongwith copy of order dated 22.12.2025. Relevant portion of office instructions reads as under:- “(i) the petitioner Shri Arun Kang has been reinstated in service forthwith on contract basis against the post held by him prior to issuance of termination order dated 14.07.2022; ii) he has been directed to join at Development Block Haroli, District Una; iii) the period from 14.07.2022 till the date of reinstatement has been ordered to be notionally counted towards service and service benefits, strictly in terms of the judgment; (iv) subsequently, the petitioner has joined at Development Block Haroli, on 23.12.2025 (Annexure R-II)” The office order dated 22.12.2025 inter-alia records that period from 14.07.2022 till the date of reinstatement shall be notionally counted towards petitioner’s service benefits; The Deputy Commissioner Una shall be at liberty to hold inquiry against the petitioner in accordance with law. - 3 - 3. Learned Additional Advocate General submits that all consequences in law, pursuant to office order dated 22.12.2025, shall follow. 4. In view of above, present execution petition is disposed of.
