This appeal is directed against the order dated 11.09.2025 passed in B. P. No. 1161 of 2025 arising out of Bero P. S. Case No. 48 of 2025 by the learned Judicial Commissioner, Ranchi whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that a mob of 500 persons had surrounded the Sarna Sthal and when the police personnel tried to pacify them, a scuffle has taken place and some properties as well as articles were destroyed. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature. It has also been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 12.07.2025. Learned Special P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant and has submitted that the appellant has got criminal antecedent. Considering the fact that no specific allegation has been attributed to the appellant and it seems that mob of 500 persons were raising anti- administration slogan and caused destruction of some articles and public properties, we while setting aside the order dated 11.09.2025 passed in -2- B. P. No. 1161 of 2025 by the learned Judicial Commissioner, Ranchi, direct that the appellant above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st class, Ranchi in connection with Bero P.
