The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Herhanj P.S. Case No. 40 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 190, 109(1), 308(2), 308(3), 308(4), 326(F) of the B.N.S., 2023, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar. 3. On 20.11.2024, at about 01:45 A.M., the driver of the informant, who was driving a Hyva was waylaid by six to seven unknown persons. The accused persons assaulted the driver and also set ablaze the Hyva. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner was accused in connection with Herhanj P.S. Case No. 141 of 2024, from which he was remanded in the present case. It was further submitted that apart from the confession of the petitioner, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record. 5. Mr. Someshwar Roy, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar in connection with Herhanj P.S.
