I have examined the record of the writ petition as well as other document available on record. 3. The petitioners, in the instant writ petition, have prayed for a direction against the respondents to disclose the selection criteria while declaring the result of 'Gram Panchayat Sahayak' and consequently, to give appointment to the petitioners, if eligible and to restrain the respondents from inviting a new application for the post of 'Gram Panchayat Sahayak'. 4. So far as petitioner Nos.2 & 3 are concerned, they could not secure sufficient marks and were quite lower in merit, hence, they were not appointed. 6. In reply to the writ petition, the respondents have also disclosed the selection criteria as well as the position of merit prepared by SDMC in following manner:- So far as other petitioners is concerned, it is submitted that complaints were received from the villagers that selection process adopted by the SDMC for selection of Panchayat Sahayak on 17.2.2017 was not transparent, severe irregularities, dishonesty was committed and selection was made airing provisions of the Rules. On the said complaint of the villagers A Committee was constituted at district level. The said Committee on the basis of Report of the Principal of the School observed that the selections were not [2025:RJ-JP:16821] (3 of 3) [CW-17314/2017] made transparently, cancelled the selection process dated 17.2.2017 and recommended for re-selection. It is relevant to mention here that Petitioner No.2 Khemchand Mali (13.7 Marks) and petitioner No.3 (16.2 Marks) being less meritorious candidates remained out of selection. 7. No rejoinder to the reply to writ petition has been filed to controvert the aforesaid submissions made in reply to the writ petition. 8. In view of above, the writ petition so far as it relates to petitioner No.1 is rendered infructuous on account of his appointment on the post of 'Gram Panchayat Sahayak' during the pendency of the writ petition and the writ petition filed by petitioner Nos.2 & 3 stands rejected. 9. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. 10. Stay application as well as all pending application(s) shall stand disposed of. (ANAND SHARMA),J DAKSH/218
