[2] By the present petition, the petitioner prayed for a direction to the respondents for releasing the outstanding undisputed bill amount for executing work on behalf of the respondents, i.e., M/o Wangoo Lamkhai to Wangoo Bridge for Public Works Department, Manipur. The matter was referred to the mediation and vide memorandum of settlement dated 25.08.2026 before the mediator, the parties have agreed to finally settle with an undertaking that the balance amount will be paid as per seniority-wise/chronological order of pending payments maintained by the concerned Department.
