GP FOR HOME The Court made the following order: This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief: “to issue an appropriate Writ Order or direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in calling the petitioner to the Police Station without there being any crime registered or pending for investigating against the Petitioner herein without following due process of law as arbitrary illegal and violative of fundamental rights guaranteed under Art 14 AND 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere with the petitioners life and limb and pass such...” 2 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the State. 3. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the State on written instructions would submit that the preliminary enquiry of the Police would reveal that it is a money dispute and they will not interfere in this matter. 4. Submissions made by learned Assistant Government Pleader are placed on record. 5. In that view of the matter, this Court is of the considered opinion that the Writ Petition can be closed at the stage of admission itself, without going into merits of the case, by directing the respondent/Police to follow due procedure established under law. 6.
