The Court made the following order:
This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A3, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.48 of 2024 of Pedabayalu Police Station, Alluri Sitharama Raju district.

A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and others for the offences punishable under Sections 111(2)(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘the BNS’) and 20(b)(ii)(C) read with 25, 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘the NDPS Act’).
3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 21.10.2024, at about 10.00 am, on credible information, the Sub-Inspector of Police, Pedabayalu Police Station, along with his staff and mediators, proceeded to Seethagunta Junction, Seethagunta (P), Pedabayalu (M), Alluri Sitharama Raju District and found A3 and A4 in possession and illegal transportation of 150 Kgs of Ganja in Mahindra Jeep. A3 and A4 confessed about the involvement of A1 and A2. The contraband along with vehicle and other material was seized under cover of a mediators report and a case has been registered against the accused.
4. Heard. Perused the record.
5. A perusal of the material on record goes to show that the contraband allegedly seized from the possession of the accused is 150 Kgs of Ganja, which is a commercial quantity. It is submitted by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor that the

investigation is not yet completed and other accused are to be apprehended. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A3.
6. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
