Petitioner has approached this Court with the grievance that though, he has purchased the house and has also applied for electricity connection, but the authorities are not extending electricity connection to him. Sri Gaurav Tripathi for the respondent no. 3 states that the colony in which the petitioner has his house is an unauthorized colony and there are no poles, etc., for laying of electricity. It is also submitted that the developer has refused to extend necessary support in that regard. Sri Tripathi moreover states that under the Works of Licensees Rules, 2006, the District Magistrate would be the competent authority, who can examine such grievance.
