The petitioner seeks a separate electricity connection in respect of the ground floor of premises at 77, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Road, Howrah – 711101. Respondent no. 4 is represented. It is submitted on her behalf that she has no objection to the grant of an electricity connection in favour of the petitioner. Respondent no. 3 is not represented. The petitioner claims to be a tenant under Khagendranath Roy (since deceased). Respondent nos. 3 and 4 appear to be his son and daughter-in- law respectively. Learned advocate appearing for CESC submits that if the petitioner applies for a separate meter in the said property, CESC has no objection to providing such connection.
2 In view of the above, the petitioner is
directed to make an online application before CESC for a new connection through a separate meter. Upon such application being made, CESC shall provide the connection within a period of four weeks from date, subject to due compliance with all formalities. Accordingly, WPA 18115 of 2025 stands
disposed of.
