Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that father of the petitioner namely Jai Singh Uikey was working on the post of Head Master at Government Primary School, Ranimar (Lainga), Block Pondi- Uproda, District Korba who died on 21.01.2021. He would contend that the petitioner is daughter of late Jai Singh Uikey from his first wife. He would further contend that compassionate appointment has been granted to respondent No.5 who is son born from second marriage of Digitally signed by RAMESH KUMAR VATTI Date: 2025.08.11 19:47:10 +0530 2 late Jai Singh Uikey. He would argue that the petitioner being daughter from first wife is entitled for compassionate appointment and in this regard a complaint/representation has been made before the Collector Korba, District Korba. He would submit that a direction may be issued to the authority concerned to inquire into the matter and take appropriate steps. 2. On the learned counsel for the State/respondents No. 1 to 4 would oppose. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 4. Considering the limited prayer made by Mr. K.P.S. Gandhi, this petition, at this juncture, is disposed of with a direction to the concerned Collector to decide the pending representation of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of 06 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.
