While placing on record communication dated 20.12.2025, issued under the signatures of Secretary (Education) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Rajan Kahol, learned Additional Advocate General, states that in terms of mandate contained in the judgment alleged to have been violated, respondent-State has been pleased to order the extension in service w.e.f.01.05.2024 to 30.04.2026 being National Awardee in lieu of cash award in favour of Sh. Bhupinder Gupta, Principal (School Cadre) retired on 30.04.2024. In view of the above, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant proceedings and accordingly same are closed. Notices issued to the respondents are hereby discharged. Needless to say, financial benefits, if any, flowing from aforesaid compliance, if not already released, shall be released expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months, failing which, petitioner would be at liberty to get the present petition revived so that appropriate action in accordance with law is taken against the erring officials.
