ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 in not following the procedure laid down by the Honourable Supreme Court in LalitaKumari v. Govt. of UP, (2008) 7 SCC 164 as violative of the judgment rendered by the Honourable Supreme Court of India in LalitaKumari v. Govt. of UP, (2008) 7 SCC 164 and consequently direct the Respondent 1 and Respondent 2 to follow the procedure and initiate appropriate action against Respondent No.3 and Respondent No.4 in pursuance of the direction laid down by Apex Court in LalitaKumari v. Govt. of U.P in the interests of justice, and be pleased to pass…”
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri Umesh Chandra P V G,
learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the instructions of the Petitioner, they intend to withdraw the petition. Learned counsel would further submit that they have addressed a letter to Registry dated 29.08.2025 to that effect.
3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader on behalf of the respondents is in attendance.
4. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No order as to Costs.
