The offences alleged against him are punishable under Sections 281, 125 (a) and 125(b) of the BNS, 2023. According to the petitioner, he has been arrayed as an accused without conducting a proper enquiry regarding the accident. Hence, he preferred Ext.P5 representation before the 2nd respondent, seeking a proper investigation regarding the crime to any police officer not below the rank of Superintendent of Police. The prayer in this writ petition is to give a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of Ext.P5 representation within a time frame. 2. Heard both sides. 3. The learned Senior Public Prosecutor, Smt.Sreeja V., on instructions, submitted that even before the filing of this writ petition, the final report has already been filed. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the WP(C) NO. 6083 OF 2025 4 2025:KER:26403 petitioner to initiate appropriate legal action, if he is aggrieved by the final report.
