Petitioner is presently serving as Matron at Regional Hospital Keylong, District Lahaul & Spiti. The case projected by her is that she has been serving in the tribal area for the past 29 years. Faced with adverse family circumstances, she preferred a representation on 21.08.2025 to respondent No.2, seeking transfer to a station of her 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - preference. The representation was followed by several reminders Annexure P-2 (colly). Petitioner’s representation was also forwarded by respondent No.3 to respondent No.2, however, till date no decision has been communicated about the fate of her representation. 3. Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent /Competent Authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, keeping in view her long tenure in the tribal area, in accordance with law and applicable policy, expeditiously, but not later than two weeks from today.
