Petitioner is aggrieved regarding the inaction of the police authorities as in spite of receiving the information which was furnished on 28.07.2025 with the Officer-in-Charge, Bowbazar Police Station no steps being taken by the police authorities. The subject matter of the said information furnished with the police station related to wrongful retention of a Scooty by one Ali Arafat Ahmed. State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Bowbazar Police Station Case No.151 dated 01.08.2025 has been registered for investigation. Since a police investigation has already commenced and a jurisdictional court is in seisin of the issue, it would be for the petitioner to ventilate further grievance before the jurisdictional court. 2 With the aforesaid observations, WPA 18108 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
