ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:
“Issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to institute suitable action for implementing their direction vide Annexure-E bearing No.ED 309 UPC 2016 dated 07.12.2016 for which approval accorded by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister.”
2. The case of the petitioners is that they are regular employees of Smt.Neelamma A.Hanumanthappa First

Grade College, Challakere, Chitradurga District. The Management of this Institution was taken over by the Government and a Special Officer has been appointed to administer the Management. Since no posting has been given to the petitioners, they have approached the Government by filing a petition under Section 133 of the Karnataka Education Act. The petition has been allowed by the following order:
“The case has been examined under said Section of the Act. There is no indication as to whether they have approached the Department of Collegiate Education for relief. Therefore, the Director of Collegiate Education is directed to look into this matter and take action as per Rules after collecting detail information from the Directorate of Pre-University Education. Action taken may be reported within six months.” `
3. Since the said order has not been implemented, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The order passed by the State Government under Section 133 of the Education Act was in the year 1998. Till today, the said order has not been implemented.
5. Under the circumstances, the following order is passed: (i) The writ petition stands disposed of.
(ii) Liberty is reserved to the petitioners to submit representations enclosing this order to respondent No.1, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this
order. (iii) If such a representation is submitted, the respondent No.1 is directed to consider the same as expeditiously as possible, not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representations, in accordance with law.
