(Oral) While placing on record communication dated 12.12.2025, issued under the signature of Authorized Signatory of HPTDC, Ms. Maheshwari Sharma, Advocate, appearing for the respondents states that 50% of the gratuity i.e. 3,09,644/- has been credited in the bank account of the petitioner and balance shall be paid expeditiously. 2. Having taken note of the aforesaid communication, which is taken on record, this Court finds that 50% of the amount of gratuity has been credited in the bank account of the petitioner, but this court cannot lose sight of the fact that more than five years have passed after the 2 retirement of the petitioner from service in the year 2020 but till date, amount of gratuity has not been paid and as such, present petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents to ensure that remaining amount of gratuity is paid within two months, failing which petitioner would be at liberty to get the present petition revived so that appropriate steps are taken for attachment of the salary of the erring officials.
