When the writ petition came up for consideration on 28.02.2025, this Court passed the following order: “The learned Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. Sri.Thomas Abraham takes notice for the additional 10th respondent. Issue notice by speed post to the respondents 5 to 9. On a consideration of the facts and the materials on record, and taking into account the submission by the learned Standing Counsel for the 10th respondent that the petitioner's establishment is not within the scheme covered area, I am satisfied that the petitioner is entitled to an ad- interim order. Hence, I direct the 4th respondent to afford adequate police protection to the petitioner to operate their establishment against the threats from the respondents 5 to 9 and their men. Post on 25.03.2025”. 3. Heard; the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader. On a consideration of the facts and the materials on record, particularly that the petitioner establishment is not situated within the Scheme Covered area under the Kerala Headload Workers (Regulation of Employment and Welfare) Scheme, I am of the view that the writ petition is to be disposed of, by making the interim order dated 28.02.2025 absolute.
