GP FOR ENDOWMENTS (AP) The Court made the following Order: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “…..to issue a Writ, Order or orders more particulary in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents in not disposing of the petitioners’ representation dt.13.12.2015 as amounting to highly arbitrary, illegal and unconsitutional…….” 2 2. This Court, vide order, dated 22.02.2016, has passed the following interim order in WPMP.No.6905 of 2016: “The grievance of the petitioners is that in view of the letter dated 13.10.2015 addressed by the District Collector, Kurnool to the Tahsildar, Aspari Mandal, Kurnool District, the lands belonging to the temple are likely to be districted as house sites. A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.No.11812 of 2005 by an order dated 7.6.2005 had restrained the alienation of any lands belonging to a temple. In that view of the matter, there shall interim directing not to deal with the lands belonging to Keshava Swamy Temple and Anjaneya Swamy Temple, situated in Tangeradona Village, Aspari Mandal, Kurnool District, except in accordance with the law.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners has passed away long back. 4. Heard Mr.P.Srinivas, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Endowments, for the respondent(s). 5. On hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that W.P.No.11812 of 2005 is still pending before a Division Bench of this Court. Therefore, this writ petition may be disposed of by making the interim order dated 22.02.2016 absolute. 6. On considering the submissions of learned Assistant Government Pleader for Endowments and upon perusing the entire material on record, it appears that the present writ petition has been filed to dispose of the petitioners’ representation dated 13.12.2015. As this Court has passed an interim order dated 22.02.2016 and a Division Bench of this Court in 3 W.P.No.11812 of 2005 by an order dated 07.06.2005 had restrained the alienation of any lands belonging to the temple, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition, while making the interim order dated 22.02.2016 absolute and directing the respondents not to deal with the lands belonging to Keshava Swamy Temple and Anjaneya Swamy Temple, situated in Tangeradona Village, Aspari Mandal, Kurnool district, except in accordance with the law. 7. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 8.
