JUSTICE SOUMITRA SAIKIA ORDER 15.07 .2026 By order dated 23.04.2025 passed in WP(C) No. 2067/2025 the following directions were issued: “7. Taking note of the aforementioned direction and also, as agreed upon by the learned counsel for both the parties, this court is inclined to dispose of this petition by directing the petitioners to file their individual representation before the appropriate authority within a period of 20 (twenty) days from today and such a representation being filed by the petitioners, the respondent authorities shall consider the individual case of the petitioners within a period of 4 (four) months.” 2] Since these directions were not complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed. 3] It is submitted that the representation filed by the petitioner was disposed Page No.# 4/4 of during the pendency of the present petition by order dated 23.06.2026 passed by the Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of School Education whereby, the representation stood rejected. 4] A copy of the said order is placed before the Court and the same is kept on the case record. 5] In that view of the matter, this Court does not wish to proceed any further in the contempt petition and accordingly, the same stands closed. 6] Notices issued, if any stands recalled. 7] Mr. T.
