It is not borne out from the instructions imparted by Director, Board of School Education, to the Government of Himachal Pradesh that in the interregnum, Lecturer (Math) was appointed in the School concerned, yet none got enrolled himself for herself in the subject of Math. 4. Therefore, this Court impresses upon the Department that before the commencement of the next academic session, let Lecturers in all subject, be appointed in the School and if students do not enroll in the subject concerned, then obviously the Department can deal with such a situation. However, the Department cannot be permitted to keep the posts vacant in anticipation that no child will take admission in a particular subject. The Court also places on record its appreciation for the endeavour made by the learned Additional Advocate General, who ensured that pursuant to the directions passed by this Court, necessary Teachers/Lecturers as well as staff stood appointed in the School concerned. 5. With these observations, the petition stands disposed of, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s) if any. (Ajay Mohan Goel) Judge December 24, 2025 (Rishi)
