Despite notice served on the unofficial respondent, there is no appearance of the unofficial respondent. 3. It is the grievance of the petitioners herein that the unofficial respondent who is the Sarpanch of Kaikaluru Village, Gram Panchayat, Kaikaluru Mandal, misused the power of the Sarpanch and committed irregularities while discharging duties as Sarpanch and the same was brought to the notice of the respondent authorities by way of representations dated 3 07.05.2023 and 05.08.2023. There is no action from the respondents, hence the present Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to initiate appropriate proceedings against unofficial respondent i.e. Sarpanch of Kaikaluru Village, Gram Panchayat 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader through written instructions would submit that already action was initiated against Sarpanch and the Cheque Power was cancelled and enquiry is pending against the Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat. 5. In view of the submission made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, Panchayat Raj, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the concerned authorities to expedite the enquiry and conclude the enquiry as expeditiously as possible not later than three months from the date of receipt of the order. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
