The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking following relief(s):- 2 10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire records pertaining to the case of the petitioners from the possession of the respondents, for its kind perusal. 10.2 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be issued a writ / order / direction directing the respondent authorities to allow the petitioner to take admission in the First Semester LLB Course in respondent College on the basis of migration certificate and not to insist on production of Transfer Certificate. 10.3 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be issued a writ/order/ direction directing the respondent authorities to adjust the name of the petitioner in the vacant seats and and/or to allow the petitioner to collect the admit card pursuant to the notification dated 26.06.2025. 10.4That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant and other relief or pass such other and further orders as may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case in the interest of justice. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the respondent-College and inaction of the respondent- University whereby the petitioner is not being allowed to take admission in first semester of LLB course on the ground that the petitioner has failed to produce transfer certificate from his earlier college. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has sent a representation specifically mentioning that the petitioner has completed his Bsc and Msc 5 year integrated course from IIT Kharagpur and there is no provision of grant of transfer certificate in IIT Kharagpur and the petitioner has already submitted migration certificate issued by the IIT Kharagpur, even then the petitioner is not being allowed to take admission in LLB course in the respondent College, therefore he prays for a direction to the respondent authorities to allow the petitioner to take admission in the First Semester LLB course in respondent College on the basis of migration certificate and not to insist on production of Transfer Certificate. 3 4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondents opposes the submission made by the learned counsel for petitioner. 5. Given the submission made by the learned counsel for the parties, particularly the fact that the migration certificate has already been submitted by the petitioner, this Court finds it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the concerned respondent authorities to give provisional admission to the petitioner and to verify whether there is provision of issuance of transfer certificate or not; if there is no provision of issuance of transfer certificate, then the admission of the petitioner would be confirmed in LLB Course in the Respondent College and if there is provision of grant of transfer certificate then in such s situation, the petitioner shall submit transfer certificate within a period of 45 days in the said college. 6.
