On perusal of affidavit of compliance, it appears that proceeding under Section 218 of the West Bengal Municipal Act, 1993 has been concluded by passing a reasoned order dated 28th April, 2025. In view of steps taken by the alleged contemnor no. 1, it appears that order dated 21st 2 September, 2023 passed by this Court in connected writ petition is complied with. Hence, Contempt application is disposed of and contempt proceeding stands dropped. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law against the order dated 28th April, 2025, if so advised.
