The present bail application has been moved by the applicant-accused Rajkumar Verma for the offence punishable under Sections 3/5A/5B/8 of U.P. Prevention Cows Slaughter Act & Section 11 of U.P. Prevention of Cruetly to Animals Act in Case Crime No.0070 of 2025, Police Station- Alinagar, District Chandauli. 2. Sri Narendra Deo Shukla, learned advocate appeared on behalf of applicant and submits that the accused applicant has been apprehended in the case by the police personnel while carrying two live cattles in two magic vehicles. It is further submitted that there is no independent witness. The charge sheet has been submitted. It is also submitted that three co- accused persons have already been granted bail by the coordinate Bench of this Court. He is languishing in jail since March, 2025. As such, he prays that the accused/applicant be enlarged on bail. 3. Per contra, learned A.G.A. has opposed the bail application and submits that the accused applicant has no criminal history. Charge sheet has been submitted. He is in jail since March, 2025. 4. This court has taken into consideration the rival submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. 5. The perusal of the record prima facie reveals that the accused applicant has been apprehended by the police on 4th March, 2025 with two magic vehicles and containing two live cattles each. There is no independent witness. The charge sheet has been submitted. Three, co-accused have already been granted bail by the coordinate Bench of this Court. The accused is languishing in jail since March, 2025. 6. Hence, without touching merit of the case, the bail application is allowed. 7. Let the applicant be released on bail in the aforesaid case crime on his executing a personal bond and furnishing two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
