With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage. 3. Petitioner is serving as Work Inspector, Jal Shakti Section Nigul Sari under Jal Shakti Sub-Division Nichar, District Kinnaur. His case is that he has completed his normal tenure at the present place of posting, which 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 falls under the hard area and therefore, preferred a representation (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.2 for his transfer to a station of his preference. Petitioner’s grievance is that the aforesaid representation has not been considered and decided by the competent authority till date. 4. Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner (Annexure P-1) in accordance with law and applicable transfer policy, within a period of four weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
