COMMON ORDER:
The instant criminal petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short ‘Cr.P.C) has been filed by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 3, seeking quashment of the proceedings against them in FIR No.283 of 2022 on the file of Palakollu Town Police Station, West Godavari District, A.P., registered for the offences punishable under Sections 506, 417,

376(2) of IPC and Sections 3(i)(r), 3(i)(s) & 3(2)(v) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. 2. I.A.No.2 of 2024 is filed by the respondent No.2/defacto complainant under Section 482 read with 320(6) Cr.P.C., seeking permission to compromise the case in FIR No.283 of 2022 on the file of Palakollu Town Police Station, West Godavari District. 3. I.A.No.1 of 2024 is filed by the respondent No.2/defacto complainant under Section 482 read with 320(2) Cr.P.C., seeking to record the compromise and quash the FIR No.283 of 2022 on the file of Palakollu Town Police Station, West Godavari District. 4. Both the parties appeared before this Court and were identified by their respective learned counsel. Copies of their Aadhar cards attested by their respective counsel are filed for proper identification. 5. Ms. K. Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State is in attendance and reported no objection to record the compromise. 6. Defacto complainant represented before the Court that she has voluntarily come forward for the compromise. She further represented that under misconception of facts, this case is lodged against the petitioners. The petitioner No.1 is the son of her maternal uncle. She further represented that she will return the received compensation amount of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) to the State on or before 31.01.2025 and she will not re- agitate the grievance in the present case in the future. further represented that case may be closed against the accused.
She does not want to prosecute the matter. 7. Sri DVVSSNH Bhujanga Rao, learned counsel for petitioners would submit that both parties have compromised and settled their previous disputes between them. Now the parties are intending to compromise the issue and filed a joint memo to that effect. 8. Considering the submissions, in the interest of justice, I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2024 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the case against the Petitioners in FIR No.283 of 2022 on the file of Palakollu Town Police Station, West Godavari District, is hereby quashed.
