By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- (I) That the respondents may be directed to take immediate steps either to acquire or to protect the property, orchard and agricultural land etc of the petitioner. (ii) That necessary direction may be issued to appoint some expert committee to assess the damage caused to the property of the petitioner because of the act of the respondents. (iii). That the respondents may be directed to compensate the petitioner for the loss suffered because of damage to their property due to the construction of road.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the land of the petitioner, which has been damaged on account of the construction activity that has been carried out by the National Highway Authority of India. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already made a representation to the Chairman of Committee, constituted by the Government of Himachal Pradesh vide notification dated 08.06.2020 i.e. Deputy Commissioner, Mandi. He submits that interest of justice would be served in case this petition is disposed of with the direction that appropriate order be passed by the Committee on the representation with in some time bound period.

Learned counsel for the respondent-NHAI submits that though the respondent is not averse to the Committee passing some order on the representation but it should not be construed that there is any admission on the part of the respondents that the property of the petitioner was damaged by NHAI. Be that as it may, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the respective contentions of the parties, this petition is
disposed of with the direction that representation, if any, filed by the petitioner, pending before the Committee, be decided by the Committee within six weeks. Principles of natural justice be adhered to and all the stake holders shall be heard before passing of the order. Miscellaneous application (s), if any, also stand disposed of.
