This Writ Petition Criminal has been filed invoking the jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the prayer for issuance of writ / order / direction for commanding the respondents to make proper investigation of Deoghar Cyber P.S. case no. 29 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B of the IPC (2025:JHHC:11634 ) 2 W.P. (Cr.) No. 39 of 2025 and Sections 66B, 66C, 66D of the Information TechnologyAct and to conclude the investigation. 3. The brief fact of the case is that the writ petitioner submitted a written application to the Officer-in-charge of Deoghar cyber police station and basing upon the same, police registered the said Deoghar Cyber P.S. case no. 29 of 2023. 4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no action has been taken by the police in respect of the FIR, though the petitioner has submitted representation dated 09.09.2024 to the respondent no. 3, hence, it is submitted that the prayer as made in this writ petition be allowed. 5. Learned counsel for the State submits that the respondents are duty bound to ensure proper and expeditious investigation of the case and to take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion. 6. Having heard the submission made at the Bar and after going through the materials in the record, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to ensure proper and expeditious investigation of Deoghar Cyber P.S. case no. 29 of 2023 and to take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion and to submit a Police Report in accordance with law preferably within a period of three months from the date of this judgment. 7.
