By this Petition, the Petitioner has prayed for following reliefs : “B. By issuing writ of mandamus the respondent be directed to consider the petitioner in the list of selected candidates for the 12 vacant seats. C. By issuing writ of mandamus the respondent be directed to consider the vacancy to be 27 seats as per the Research Guide List and consider the petitioner in the list of selected candidates.” 2. In the common affidavit in reply filed by the Respondent University, in the bunch of Petitions, following statement is 2026:BHC-AUG:37816-DB {2} wp6045-25.doc made: “The Faculty of Management Science has total 11 guides and most of the guides are already occupied by the candidates. However, considering the fraction of 0.5 in the subject of Management Science i.e. in W. P. No. 6045/2025 the respondent University willing and ready to accommodate the said petitioner namely Sunil Rahul Ghorpade for Ph.D. admission for the programme of 2024” 3. In view of the said statement, learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Petition may be disposed of, as the grievance of the Petitioner is redressed by the University. 4.
