Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the amount of Rs.50,00,000/- which was ordered to be deposited, by virtue of an order, dated 16.12.2024, passed by the coordinate Bench of this Court, has not been deposited.
2. In any case, in view of the fact that there is an equally efficacious alternate remedy available to the petitioners by way of an appeal before the Debts Recovery Tribunal, and in view of the ratio of the Apex Court judgment in the case of United Bank of India Vs. Satyawati Tondon1, we do not

persuade ourselves to invoke our Writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India in the instant case.
3. This Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed. No costs.
