A case has been registered against the petI'tiOner and others for the offence under sectI'OnS 111(2)(b) B.N.S and see.20(b)(ii)(C) read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and psychotropI'C Substances Act. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that on 27.8.2024 at about 6.00 pm, on receipt of credible information regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, s.I of Police, Moothugudem p.s., along with staff, conducted vehicle checking opposite to Moothugudem polI'Ce station, and at that tI'me Al to A3 were trying to transport 215 kgs of ganja in 9 plastic bags I-n Marutl' Swift Dzire car bearing No.TS 07 UB 8576 from Pappulur vI'llage, Odisha state to Hyderabad.
on seeing poll'ce, A2 and A3 absconded from that place and police arrested the Al at the spot and seized 215kgs of ganja and got remanded Al to judicial custody on the same day. 4. Heard. Perusedtherecord`
5. A perusal of the materI'al available on record goes to show that the petitioner along wI'th Others Were found transporting 215 kgs of ganja in nI'ne plastic bags and on information, police arrested the petl-tioner. The petl'tioner, since the date of arrest, has been languishl-ng in jal-I.
6. Learned Assistant public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that there are no antecedents as against the petitioner herein and major part b`_ -1'` EJ(E1 €--ir--
3 + of investigation has been completed and charge sheet could not be filed because of inventory. 7. As major portion Of inVeStigatiOn iS completed and aSthere are nO antecedents against this petitioner, this court is inclined to grant bail to the petit'loner. 8. ln view of the aforesaid facts and Circumstances Of the Case, this court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herein, on the following conditions. (i) The petitioner herein Shall be released On his executing a personal bond for Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand Only) With two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the Judicial First Class Magistrate at Rampachodavaram; (ii) on release, the petitioner shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned Once in a Week i.e. On every Sunday between 10.00 a.m. and 05,00 p.m., till filing of charge Sheet. 9.
