Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 136 of 2024 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 18 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 308(3), 61, 3 (5) of the B.N.S., Sections 17, 18, 20 (b) (ii) (B) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Latehar. 3. On 22.09.2024 at about 07:20 P.M., Chandwa police apprehended the petitioner along with co-accused persons and on search, 2.50 kilograms of cannabis was recovered from their joint possession. 4. It was submitted that the quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused Ashweeni Kumar has been granted bail by this Court earlier in B.A. No. 1273 of 2025. 5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Latehar, in connection with Chandwa P.S.
