With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage. 3. Petitioner is serving as Junior Basic Trained Teacher (on contract) at Government Primary School, Pathiar, Tehsil Jawali, District Kangra, H.P. w.e.f. 13.08.2024. She seeks decision of her application dated 10.11.2025 wherein request for maternity leave of 180 1 Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 days is stated to have been made. Learned counsel for the petitioner placed reliance upon Archana Sharma versus State of H.P.2 in support of petitioner's prayer. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner would be satisfied in case the respondents are directed to consider and decided the petitioner’s application in light of the aforesaid judgment within a fixed time schedule. Learned Additional Advocate General is not averse to this prayer. 4. Looking to the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid application of the petitioner dated 10.11.2025 in accordance with law and applicable transfer policy, within a period of 10 days from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
