2 / 2 dated 08.09.2022 passed in Special Sessions Trial (POCSO) Case No.6/2022 by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Special Court (POCSO Act), Ramanujganj, District Balrampur- Ramanujganj (CG) whereby appellant has been convicted under Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and sentenced to undergo RI for 3 years and fine of Rs.1000/- and in default of payment of fine, further RI for 2 months.
2. Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the appellant has already served out the entire jail sentence awarded to him by the learned trial Court for the offence in question and has been released and, therefore, he does not want to further press this appeal on merits.
3. In view of the submission of learned counsel for the appellant, this appeal is dismissed.
