The petitioner has filed this petition seeking for the following reliefs: “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, thereby directing the respondent authorities to proceed for determination of social status of petitioners in accordance with law and to issue permanent social status certificate in favour of petitioners. 10.2 To kindly grant any other relief which may be deem fit in the given facts and circumstances of the instant case.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that applications were moved before the Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Kota, District Bilaspur, for the issuance of social status certificates, as the petitioners belong to the Sawara caste, which comes within Scheduled Tribe category. He would submit that the applications were moved in the year 2019 but till date, no decision has been taken. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State would oppose the submissions made by counsel for the petitioners. He would submit that if the petitioners had submitted their application forms in the proper format, the authority concerned will decide those applications. 4. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioners filed applications for grant of social status certificates in the year 2019, and till date no action has been taken, at this juncture, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to decide the 3 pending applications of the petitioners for issuance of social status certificate expeditiously, preferably within a period of 120 days, if already not decided. 5.
