(Oral) This is a petition under Section 528 of the BNSS for issuance of a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to conduct proper thoroughly fair investigation in the matter through any senior police official and to take appropriate legal action in the complaint dated 21.12.2024 (Annexure P-1). Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to look into the complaint dated 21.12.2024 (Annexure P-1), within a time bound manner. Without adverting to the merits of the case and in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioners, respondent No.2- Superintendent of Police, Yamuna Nagar is directed to look into the complaint dated 21.12.2024 (Annexure P-1) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order by affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. The order so passed in the said complaint shall be communicated to the petitioners within a period of one week thereafter. The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
