Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bagodar P.S. Case No. 181 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.904 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 303(2), 316(2), 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of Ms. Smriti Tripathi, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Giridih. On 12.09.2024, the informant had got 30 tonnes of rice loaded on the truck for transporting it to Raipur. The truck driver did not deliver the consignment at the designated place, but sold it somewhere else. During the course of investigation, name of the petitioner has transpired in confession of the truck driver, in which he has stated that the petitioner was the master mind of the entire occurrence.
Learned counsel for the informant submitted that the petitioner has also confessed that he has got the documents forged. Considering the fact that apart from confession, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Ms. Smriti Tripathi, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Giridih or her successor, in connection with Bagodar P.S. Case No. 181 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.904 of 2025.
