(Oral) It is the case of the petitioner that declaratory suit, bearing Suit No.24/89-90 (Old No.78/1987-88), Abdul Rehman and Others Vs. State of Uttarakhand and Others, pending in the court of Additional City Magistrate, Dehradun, was filed against the petitioner in the year 1987, but till date, it has yet not been decided. He seeks directions that it may be decided expeditiously. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. This Court cannot command the working of any court, as such. Cases are listed and decided as per the priority, age of the case, etc. What is being stated is that for more than 25 years, the case is pending, which is declaratory suit in nature. 2 4. This Court can only observe that the court below shall make all endeavours to decide the case as expeditiously as possible, as per priority and pendency of the cases in that court. 5.
