By order dated 30.04.2025, the sentence imposed upon the Applicant by order dated 03.09.2024 stood suspended on the Applicant depositing an amount of Rs. 1,50,000/-, little over 20% of the compensation amount awarded by the Magistrate. Considering these facts, the petition can be disposed of by issuing following direction: (a) The Registry of this Court shall remit to the Court of the District Judge and the Additional Sessions Court at Mapusa (Criminal Appeal No. 300/2024), an amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- deposited to secure the condition of the suspension of sentence vide order dated 15.04.2025 of the Sessions Court. 4.
