DATED :- 22nd September, 2025 P.C.: In continuation of the statement made by the learned Advocate General and which we recorded in our order dated 18.06.2025 that the process of merging the cadre of Gram Sevak and the Secretary of Village Panchayat is in process, today, he has placed before us the notings, which are placed for consideration before the Hon'ble Chief Minister, which indicate that a positive decision is being taken. However, the noting specifically records and so is the statement made by the learned Advocate General that the issuance of an order would consume some time. However, since we find that the State has agreed for the merger of the cadre of Gram Sevak with that of Panchayat 22nd September, 2025 WP 417 of 2024 Secretary, in principle, and the necessary orders would follow, we can only observe that it shall be done with expedition.
