The instant writ application has been preferred by the petitioners praying for a direction upon the Respondent Authorities to consider the case of these petitioners regarding transfer according to preferences specified in their respective applications as well as the vacancies available in the preferred schools, especially in view of the fact that similarly situated teachers have been transferred for the same and similar reason. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners draws attention of this Court towards Paragraph-15 and submits 2025:JHHC:13593 2 that in a meeting of District Education Establishment Committee held on 29.07.2024, the transfer applications of these petitioners have been duly accepted and the same have been forwarded to the State Level Establishment Committee for taking further action. Relying upon this paragraph, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the concerned respondent may be directed to take a final decision on the issue involved. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that since no counter affidavit has been filed; as such, in view of the averments made in Paragraph- 15 of the writ application, it is clear that the matter is under active consideration. 5. Having regard to the fair submission of learned counsel for the parties, the instant writ application is hereby disposed of by directing the 2nd Respondent to treat this writ application as representation and take a decision in the matter, in accordance with law and applicable Rules and Regulations by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. One of the petitioners is directed to serve copy of this writ petition and its order to the 2nd Respondent for early disposal of this case. 6. With the aforesaid observations, this writ application stands disposed of. (Deepak Roshan, J.) Jk
