Matter is heard in presence of learned advocates representing petitioner, respondent nos. 5 to 7 and State respondents. 2. Pursuant to order dated 3rd August, 2026 a communication dated 7th September, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge, Daulatabad Police Station, Murshidabad Police District is placed and same is taken on record. 3. Learned advocate representing petitioner submits that premises of petitioner was gifted to respondent nos. 5 to 7 who are two sons and grandson respectively. It is alleged that after gifting the property in favour of respondent nos. 5 to 7 by executing deed of gift petitioner is being attempted to be evicted from the said 2 premises by respondent nos. 5 to 7 prompting the petitioner to approach this Court with the present writ petition seeking necessary directions upon the concerned police authorities which would permit the petitioner to stay at the premises in question. 4. On query posed to the learned advocate representing respondent nos. 5 to 7 as to why petitioner is being tried to be evicted by his own sons and grandson, it is submitted that petitioner can stay at the premises in question. 5. Taking note of such submission made on behalf of respondent nos. 5 to 7 that petitioner can stay at the premises in question this Court directs the concerned police authorities to provide necessary assistance to the petitioner which will enable the petitioner to stay at the premises. 6.
