By means of present petition, petitioner seeks to quash the charge sheet no.70 of 2020 dated 12.03.2020 (Annexure-2) and the summoning/cognizance order dated 12.01.2022 (Annexure-3) as well as the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.79 of 2022 “State vs. Mohd. Jabbar and another”, pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate, Jaspur, District Udham Singh Nagar, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. 2. In view of the fact that a Compounding Application was filed by the parties before this Court, this Court, vide order dated 09.04.2025, had directed the parties to appear before the Secretary, DLSA, Udham Singh Nagar to get their statements recorded and to verify the compromise deed. 3. Pursuant to such order, Secretary, DLSA, Udham Singh Nagar has submitted report dated 03.04.2025 which 1 2025:UHC:3037 indicates that the parties have settled the dispute amicably and have also verified the contents of the compromise. 4. In view of the above, Compounding Application IA No.1/2025 is allowed. As a consequence thereof, charge sheet no.70 of 2020 dated 12.03.2020 (Annexure-2) and the summoning/cognizance order dated 12.01.2022 (Annexure-3) as well as the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.79 of 2022 “State vs. Mohd. Jabbar and another”, pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate, Jaspur, District Udham Singh Nagar, are hereby quashed. 5. Accordingly, present petition is disposed of, on the basis of compromise/settlement arrived at between the parties.
