The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition inter alia with the following prayer:- "(a) Issue a writ in the nature of Certiorari to quash the part of impugned order dated 09.12.2024 passed by the Deputy Commissioner (Food) Varanasi Region, Varanasi, whereby he rejected the stay application filed by the petitioner alongwith Appeal No. 30 of 2024 (Abrar Ahmad Vs. State of U.P. and others). (Annexure no. 1 to this writ petition)." 2. After some argument counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer and prayed that the Appellate Authority i.e. Respondent n o. 2/ before whom the appeal filed by the petitioner is pending, be directed to decide the same expeditiously. 3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the authority concerned to decide the aforesaid appeal strictly in accordance with law most expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy before the Court below but without granting unnecessary adjournment unless there is no legal impediment.
